Love heals wounds and brings us closer to establishing the kingdom of God. But much stands in our way, despite our best efforts. Lord, hear our prayer for more love in our world.

Dear God,
Time and again, you have shown us
that love—
in its myriad and beautiful manifestations—
is the only true antidote to hate.
Help guide me
to a deeper love of you,
my Creator,
and to a place of compassion and care
for all you have created.

Who do you struggle to love? Whether it’s an individual or a group, remember that God is in them too, and they are inherently worthy of our love and kindness.
