Reflect
The country in which I live has its complexities, yet it is resilient. I can pledge my allegiance without embracing every turn the nation takes. I can contribute to its strength.
Pray
I believe in one nation under God.
I believe all nations are under God.
I thank God for the liberty I enjoy.
I thank God for the justice I have known.
I beg for greater justice and freedom for all to enjoy
the fruits of this blessed earth.
Help me to be a good citizen in this life
and so to ready myself for the next.
Amen.
Act
Today, I will observe the law of love. I will walk or wait as I am directed, place all trash in receptacles, observe speed limits, and be glad to live as a civil member of my community.
